Amateur night is where comedy comes to be born. At the The Comedy Thing it means a show unlike any other. We root for them all to do well, and some reward our faith. Some are on the way to getting better, but a few are like the comedy version of missing the rail when you jump your skateboard and crushing your nuts. Its funny, but for all the wrong reasons. The Comedy Thing has Calgary's best amateur stand up night, and the first one is free...that's right no cover.
