Luna is the best club in the Detroit area and definitely anywhere close to southeast Oakland County. The music is unique and stuff you can't hear anywhere else, especially in Pontiac or on the radio.

Each night has a different theme. Wednesday is powerpop dance or something. Thursday is retro dance. Friday is live music. Saturday is alternative dance. Sunday is the Killer Flamingos.Luna always has drink specials, especially before 11pm. The drinks are not very strong usually. But if you get there early and take advantage of the drink specials it's not very expensive. The bar is very awkward and people tend to just hover around the bar making it difficult to order drinks. The bartenders are very nice and friendly and work hard to get your drinks quickly.

There is usually a cover charge. However, there are free passes online for Friday and Sunday.Another advantage of Luna is that it's right across the street from a 24 hour National Coney Island.
