When hitting up a night club in Los Angeles, one must include the Mint on their list. A local landmark, this Los Angeles night club was established in 1937 and is celebrating its 70th year here in 2007. Its best known for its live music and over the years many greats have not only played here, they got their starts by playing The Mint. Back in the day, the likes of Stevie Wonder, Willie Dixon, Natalie Cole, Ray Charles and more graced its stage and more recently, Ben Harper, Macy Gray, The Wallflowers honed their craft and kicked off their careers playing this Los Angeles night club. Although live music is what we are known for, many people come to the Mint just to hang out, grab some of our tapas style cuisine and some drinks. The kitchen is usually open until midnight, there is a full bar and we have beer on tap and a great wine list to suit any palate and budget.
