Elevate Lounge has 6000 sq ft of dance and lounge space in one big open area. Retractable glass walls (sliding doors) open to the outdoor lounge with a south-west view over downtown from Wilshire. It can easily accommodate large special events and includes state-of-the-art audio/visual system capabilities, moveable modern furniture and other flexible features. Elevate Lounge has also been used as a filming location and has been featured on television shows including “Brothers and Sisters,” “Millionaire Matchmaker” and in Britney Spears’ “Womanizer” video.
This $4 million project opened its door in August 2007, complete with sweeping views from the South Bay to the San Fernando Valley, is the latest creation from the Downtown Entertainment Group.
Renowned design firm Tag Front was commissioned to design the multi faceted destination of Takami Sushi & Robata Restaurant + Elevate Lounge more than two years ago previous to the opening. Tag Front is credited with designing award-winning interiors for many famed restaurants and nightclubs in Los Angeles including Boa, Katana, The Ivar, Nacional and the Geisha House.
