One of Chicago’s favorite nightlife epicenters is gearing up to be transformed yet again with the opening of highly anticipated Ohm Nightclub. Having been on the tip of the nightlife community’s tongue for the past few months, the club will occupy the legendary Red Dog space at the historic Damen/Milwaukee/North intersection in the heart of Wicker Park. The space will bring two rooms of unrivaled sound and quality to city’s ever changing nightlife landscape.
Ohm is a dynamic 11,000-sq.-ft. space incorporating 5 bars, 2 musical environments and a 6000-sq.-ft. dance floor. The Bridge, is a seductive room featuring a sensational drink specialties menu. As a separate entity, the Bridge will feature its own deejay and a separate exclusive drink and champagne menu. Ohm's management is comprised of a team of nightlife professionals with over 40 years of combined experience in the hospitality industry. Ohm's main room brings an unparalleled big room option to the renowned Chicago neighborhood. The club also features loft ceilings, treated brick walls, stained glass windows allowing the warm glow of streetlights into the venue, a state-of-the-art EV X-array sound system in both rooms, stylish marble bathrooms and bars complete with oak and mahogany finishes.
The musical direction of Ohm will touch on multiple genres of electronic music but intends to find its roots in Chicago's highly respected House music. In addition to a solid roster of globe-trotting guest DJs, the line-up of residents employ styles ranging from world music such as salsa and reggaeton, to popular mashup and top 40, along with the world famous house music of Chicago. |
