We can accommodate up to 25 guests comfortably, all together in the same room or up to 50 if you rent the whole spa to yourselves.

THE MOVIE SPA is located on the corner or Arbutus and West Broadway in trendy Kitsilano. Free Underground Parking is available to our customers. Lots of metered parking spots available on both Arbutus and West Broadway.

When our first location opened in February 2005a, we did not realize that we would end up creating a new category in the spa industry - THE MOVIE SPA.

Our clients have given us that nickname and in return, we are dedicated to make sure that every customer that walks through our doors is treated like a movie star (because everyone is a celebrity! YOU are a celebrity!)

When you enter our spa, you will immediately feel that you have entered a place of dedicated skin care, relaxation, elegance, positivity and fun.

The unique design and concept as 'THE MOVIE SPA' is the first of its kind in the world and has been recognized and reported by numerous respected media outlets such as The Vancouver Sun, Flare Magazine, Chatelaine, and GDR Creative Intelligence, a global research company in the United Kingdom analyzing and reporting on the latest innovations across retail, leisure and hospitality, set within the context of developing social and commercial trends.

THE MOVIE SPA is a pioneer in combining the relaxing experience of a spa manicure or pedicure with the entertaining experience of going to a movie theater. The result is a facility where clients can watch a movie on a 14-foot projection screen while getting their nails done.

While most average spas range from 1,000 to 1,800 square feet in size, THE MOVIE SPA in Kitsilano is 4,500 square feet. The size and layout have been instrumental in being able to properly host hundreds of group spa parties since February 2005 ranging from birthdays, bridal showers, and corporate functions.

Among these events was the CD release spa party for international recording artist Michael Bubl (pictured here with "The Devil Wears Prada" actress Emily Blunt), booked by Warner Music Canada in April 2007 to preview his "Call Me Irresponsible" album exclusively to members of the press, television, radio and retail store managers prior to embarking on his concert tour.

THE MOVIE SPA became the official spa sponsor for the May 2008 premiere of "Sex And The City: The Movie" as presented by Alliance Atlantis Films at the Scotiabank Theatre in Vancouver. And THE MOVIE SPA became a sponsor for the May 2010 premiere of "Sex And The City 2" which was again held at the Scotiabank Theater in Vancouver.
