Alex Neri and his music Partner, keyboard wiz Marco Baroni, formed the act KAMASUTRA and were catapulted onto the scene in the early nineties with the seminal club anthem KORDA "Move Your Body". After being set back for two years due to Italian army duties they produced a solid set of classic club tracks on their WILDFLOWER imprint, such as Kamasutra's "Censored", "Nightwalk" and "Love Me or Leave Me" feat. Kym Mazelle, along with one of the anthems of 1996 Alen Neri's "Planet Funk vol.1", a seamless amalgamation of their trademark driving funky bass, disco vibe and House beats. Tracks to reap the early benefits of Kamasutra's distinctive remixing treatment included Club Freaks, Kym Mazelle, Annette Taylor, Future Forces, Instant Funk, and Jestofunk.
Their first UK major label release on Sony S3 (1997) "Storm in my Soul" went straight to No.1 in the club charts in the UK, Italy and Germany and established them in the world dance scene.

Kamasutra / Alex Neri: an irresistible groove against the winter blues; the funky enthusiasm and vitality of spring come early. Kamasutra have recently hooked up with Neapolitan producers Souled Out ! and their label Bustin Loose to form a multi-faceted collective that could be easily called a super group of organic yet electronic funk: PLANET FUNK.
Their first single "Chase the sun", released in January 2001, made no. 5 in the UK charts and was a world-wide hit. Described by many as a "gothic rock, trance, house, Celtic, disco" cut, it is to spearhead an album project which spans the many genres of recent electronic music intermingled with classic rock vocals and pop sensibilities. Planet funk is music for the third millennium.
