Xavier Seulmand began his Dj'ing career back in 1983 at the BH in Paris and then at the CLUB from 1986 to 1997. He became an emblematic figure for the Butch parties (1st édition 1999-2004). At the same time, he performed for various institutions such as LE PALACE (Gay Tea Dance party 92/93), La Scala... as well as for numerous parties known as DISPATH, SUBMISSION, BLAUKAUS, FUSION, DECADENCE, HOME DELUXE, JUICE (Amsterdam), ATMOSPHERE, the CRAZYVORES, GUS DELUXE (Brussels, London, Paris), SPACE OF SOUND (Madrid, Paris) ... and also appeared at venues such as the QUEEN, REDLIGHT, MIX, ELYSEE MONMARTRE, LOCO, CONCORDE ATLANTIQUE,BOBINO, REGINE'S, PALAIS DE TOKYO and took part in various Prides (Marseille, Bordeaux, Nantes, Paris..). World renowned couture house (Fendi, LVMH, DIM...) regularly chose him to work on various fashion parades and parties for celebrities. Influenced by many (Depeche Mode, DAF, Killing Joke, Visage, New Order, Bowie....), he rapidly created his own style which is easily recognizable and he is now famous for his long harmonious and flowing blends. He also leaded the way to Progressive music. In the 90's, he works with a hard rock band, "Machiavel" on a very strange album "The Ritual", a kind of mistic-electro-pop staff: too "bizarre" for the majors! His last album with the composer Cyril Morin and the deejay Nicolas Nucci, NES "Feel Human" has just been relaesed. His current residencies are RELAX (Paris), 20000 (Paris), LA CHAPELLE ( Lyon), COX (Paris), PLAY, CLUB-MAXIMALE ( The Alexis Akkis parties : Kontact, Splash, Maximale, Rapido). He's also working on music with Raph for European Beardrop and plays often for METEO (Nicolas Nucci party) as NES. |
